Thank You!

A week ago we celebrated a great victory in my race for County Commission. Now that we have had a moment to recover from our effort, let me offer many words of thanks.
No words adequately can thank my wife Becky for all she has done, and all the sacrifices she has made in this effort.
Campaign manager Paul Witt was calm, organized, and wise. He kept me on course, and prodded me when I grew weary.
Amy Broyles and her family were a source of inspiration and delight. Amy is energetic and dedicated, and I so wish she were joining me on commission.
All our volunteers were exceptional, but special note should be made of the support from Linda and Dan Haney, John Bohstedt, Emily Singer, Bob Becker, Emily Ellis, Jerry Bone, Sam Wallace, Eddie Clark, Jim Gray, Steve Muhleisen, Stacey Diamond, Cameron Brooks, Michael Kaplan, Jamey Dobbs, Tracey Kramer, Rick Held, and all the poll workers.
Democracy for Knoxville, Democracy for Tennessee, and Democracy for America recognized that our progressive campaign held promise-and helped at key moments. Jim Andrews and the Orange Ballot candidates were models of high principle, cooperation and professionalism, and we deserve so many more of them in county government.
I have sent thank you notes by mail to our many donors and our campaign treasurer, Bill Snyder.
We benefited from reliable and supportive vendors: Rikki Hall's voter data, Curry Copy Center, PurePostcards.com, and Capitol Promotions.
I surely have left out some names who also deserve thanks. I hope all of you know that when I take the oath of office that I merely stand at the head of a line that includes you. That is an honor and a debt I never can repay.
All the best,
Mark Harmon
